Italian shoe designer and shoemaker based in Barcelona, I design and carefully handcraft pretty unique shoes!
By combining the nicest Italian leathers and the finest shoemaking skills, I’ll be the one who will design and craft the shoes of your dreams! Finding in nature and music an endless source of inspiration, I’m delighted crafting in my sunny and colourful studio in Barcelona, come, visit me and see how I’ll craft shoes, completely by hand, with good vibes while listening to some jazz!

After earning a degree in Industrial Design and a Master’s in Shoemaking, I spent a decade working as a shoe designer for major companies such Hugo Boss, Miss Sixty and Inditex Group.
While these experiences enriched my understanding of shoemaking processes, I felt that the massive, impersonal industrial dimension didn’t align with my nature and my values. I yearned to bring the concept of work to a more human, ethical, and sustainable dimension, restoring its noble meaning.
During this personal transformation back in 2010, Ele Handmade Shoes was born.
I built a sustainable small business, moving from mass production to its complete opposite: an extremely limited, fully handmade production. No stock, no excess. Each pair made upon request, exclusively for the woman who entrusts me to create it.
Ele is my nickname and the name of a project that grew from my passion, an extension of my personal story.
That was my life’s purpose and a dream coming to life. And I made it happen!
Like an artistic project from beginning to end, ideas first blossom in my mind and then materialize through my hands. My creations are designed to transcend trends, offering refined elegance.
Feminine and extremely comfortable, they make a statement with simple yet sophisticated lines. I enjoy mixing and matching textures and finishes, selecting only the finest, softest, and most luxurious leathers from the best Italian tanneries to bring my charming shoes to life.
I take pleasure in both the creative and executive steps, personally crafting every single pair in a slow, artisan, and passionate manner. Utmost care goes into every detail, completely realized by hand.

Stitching after stitching, these shoes have traveled the world, carrying stories with them. They have taken brides down the aisle, accompanied future doctors defending their dissertations, danced swing with happiness, walked along the path of love and new beginnings, stepped into job interviews, celebrations, and quiet everyday moments, see some of them here!

Beyond crafting shoes, I am passionate about sharing the art of shoemaking.
I´ve been teaching in-person courses at Duduá, Barcelona and through EasyShoeMaking, I offer online courses designed to make shoemaking accessible to beginners and I provide an enjoyable, hands-on experience in creating your own footwear from your kitchen table! It’s a joy to guide others in this craft, fostering a community of shoe enthusiasts.
